Vibrant and colorful bolts of fabrics line the shelves and compose the project samples at Tennessee Quilts in Jonesboro, Tennessee.
Meet the Staff
Front row: Brenda Crouch (co-owner) and Linda Crouch-McCreadie (co-owner); second row: Judy Rust and Linda Kaiser; third row: Sandra Fair and Susan Scheer; fourth row: Carolyn Jarrell and Gail Crowe.
Bags and Purses
Patterns for these bags-from left, Two-Hour Tulip Purse by Janice Pope for Anything But Boring, Grommet Bag by Maple Island Quilts, and Sweet Harmony Bag by Amy Butler-can be found at Tennessee Quilts.
Annual Quilt Festival
Tennessee Quilts hosts Quiltfest, a three-day quilt festival, each July. Staff members plan for an entire year for the annual event. Past themes include Come On-A My House pillows.
Turn by Turn
Tennessee Quilts owners Linda Crouch-McCreadie and Brenda Crouch designed Turn by Turn for Quilt Sampler® Spring/Summer 2011 magazine.
In Turn by Turn, Linda Crouch-McCreadie machine-quilted flowing feathers in the teal diagonal rows and double-stitched grid lines in the red diagonal rows.
Turn by Turn Color Option
By separating every other diagonal row with light gray sashing rectangle, quilt tester Laura Boehnke evokes a subtle feeling of looking through windowpanes on an early spring day. Fabrics are from the Dandelion Daydream collection from Maywood Studio.
