Stitchin’ Post

After 35 years, Stitchin’ Post, in small Sisters, Oregon, is still a heavy hitter in the world of quilting.

Small But Mighty

Pincushions are perfect projects to experiment with color. Jean suggests you use at least one zinger fabric in each pincushion. A zinger fabric is brighter and bolder than the others.

Jean and Valori also own and operate the adjoining store, Twigs Home and Garden. For the past 12 years, Twigs has carried yarn, knitting supplies, gifts, and eco-friendly products.

Super Sweet

Della, Valori’s new fabric collection, is available in plush and flannel,  perfect for baby quilts and gifts.

Contemporary Quilting

Recently, Jean has been focusing on abstract work. With her new book, Intuitive Color & Design: Adventures in Art Quilting, Jean hopes to help quilters embrace the idea of making a contemporary quilt.
