The Quilting Quarters
The Quilting Quarters in Almonte, Ontario, reflects the textile heritage of the small Canadian community.
The family-run quilt shop abounds with quilted samples. Owner Susan Shute’s mother, Carole Shute, helps cut and order fabric and stitches many of the samples at The Quilting Quarters. Susan’s father, Albert, works on everything from accounting to answering the phone at the shop.
