Meet the Staff

Wide Variety

Bolts of pretty prints and solids are organized by color, making it easy to mix and match fabrics.

Precut Fabrics

Nearly all the quilts in this display begin with precuts, either 5” squares or 2-1/2“ strips. Precuts are popular at Keepsake Cottage Fabrics.

Bolts and Bolts

Owner Julie Stewart showcases sample quilts high on the shop walls. Keepsake Cottage Fabrics stocks 10,000 bolts of fabric.

Fat Quarter Fun

Fat quarters of 1930s prints are rolled and ready for the taking.

Go for the Gold

Shop owner Julie Stewart designed Go for the Gold, a throw featuring Rob Peter to Pay Paul blocks, for Quilt Sampler® Spring/Summer 2013 magazine.

Machine-Quilting Details

Using two layers of batting to accentuate the quilting, Pam Cole machine-quilted an eight-ray star pattern in each block center. She added rounded zigzags in the cream print pieces and stitched in the ditch around the curved edges. She stitched arcs in the corner and setting triangles to mimic curves in the blocks. In the corner and setting triangles and the border Pam stitched parallel rays of varying lengths.
