Autumn Nesting Machine-Quilting Detail
Machine quilter: Karen Mattson
Karen Mattson machine-quilted with tight stippling in the background space behind the quail appliqués, an Orange Peel design of interlocking circles in the leaf blocks and diamonds formed by red squares, and parallel lines and feathers in the remaining background spaces. She quilted a piano-key design of parallel lines in the outer border.
