Space for Everyone

Two century-old buildings that once housed a furniture store now contain Country Traditions.

Building on Technology

The second floor of the shop is a classroom and retreat center. Here, two employees finish quilts using long-arm quilting machines.

Vintage Displays

Twin bed vignettes are a staple at Country Traditions. Here the decorative pillows showcase a variety of machine-stitching techniques and the quilts feature current fabric collections.

Blossoms in the Garden

Shop owner Leslie Main designed Blossoms in the Garden, a tabletop quilt of pieces blooms and leaves, for Quilt Sampler® Spring/Summer 2012 magazine. For something  new, use your sewing machine to quilt the border with a decorative stitch.

Machine-Quilting Details

Designer Leslie Main machine-stitched three radiating lines in the ditch of the petal and leaf units. Using green thread she machine-quilted the border units with a leaf-and-vine pattern.
