Something Sweet

The quilt shop carries almost the entire Moda line. A baker’s cabinet with a sign reading Cabbage Rose Pastry Shop holds yummy 10-inch fabric square Layer Cakes, precut-strip Jelly Rolls, and triangle Turnovers.

The Brightest Stars

Kaffe Fasset fabrics attract attention in Red Star Bouquet and the coordinating Bali Bag.

Charming Fall Colors

Among the 7,500 fabric bolts are seasonal goodies, such as these fall inspired prints. Charming table runner peeks out of the wooden cabinet. Several staff members have become designers since starting at Cabbage Rose Quilting and Fabrics.

Giving Back

The holidays aren’t the only time for giving back, and Cabbage Rose Quilting and Fabrics understands this well. Through the years, the shop has provided quilts, fabrics, and time to causes such as Quilt for the Cure, Hurricane Katrina relief, Cook Children’s Hospital, as well as wounded soldiers.

Spiral Details

Spiral quilting takes center stage, adding a lovely swirl to the linear blocks.

Carefree Romance Color Option

Give Carefree Romance a contemporary twist by using red, black, and white prints. Quilt tester Laura Boehnke used geometric and floral fabrics from Monaluna’s Mingle collection for Robert Kaufman Fabrics to create a bold wall hanging.

Contact Cabbage Rose Quilting and Fabrics to purchase a copy of the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of Quilt Sampler. Issues are also available at your local quilt shop, on newsstands, and online.
