What to Bring: Just yourself (and some friends)! All fabric, supplies and sewing machines will be provided.
Cost: FREE! All supplies are provided free, you provide your time. Pillowcases will be donated to Central Iowa charities.
No Experience Needed: Our staff and volunteers will walk you through the steps to make a pillowcase using the roll-it-up method. You'll be a pro in no time.
Ages: All ages welcome. Children as young as four can get in on the fun (with a little help from parents/staff)! Children 6 and younger need a parent to help.
Entrance to parking ramp is off 17th and Locust. Go straight at the light on 17th and Locust and follow drive to the left. Press the button at the parking gate to be buzzed in. You may park on any level (lowest level is closest to event entrance). Follow the signs down to the entrance of the event.

Group Info: We welcome groups and organizations to come in and sew together. We recommend signing up for a time so we can be staffed appropriately and cut down on wait times. Click here to sign up!
Station Supervisors needed!
We need Station Supervisors to help with the event. Two-hour shifts available in various stations: rolling station, sewing station, serging and ironing. You will supervise and assist at your assigned station. Sewing experience helpful, but not necessary. Event t-shirt will be provided. Click here to sign up for a Station Supervisor shift. (You do not need to sign up here if you want to just come and sew.)
