House and Heart Pillow

Use precut 10-inch squares and fat quarters to create a reversible pillow. Appliqué house and heart shapes, then frame each appliquéd block with stripe and tone-on-tone borders. Fabrics are from the Pinfeathers collection by Carina Gardner and Simply Basics, both from Northcott Fabrics.

Finish Pillow

1. Layer pillow front and back with right sides together. Sew together around all edges, leaving a 4" opening on one side for turning, to make pillow cover.

2. Turn pillow cover right side out through opening; use a chopstick or the eraser end of a pencil to push out corners. Press; stuff firmly with fiberfill. Whipstitch opening closed to complete pillow.
