TERRY ATKINSON

Instructor: The Power of Piecing

Terry is no stranger to teaching‹she taught Home Economics for four years, adult quilting classes for 20 years, and even taught preschool. This diversified teaching background is the reason her instructions are so easy to follow‹they are written as if she is right there explaining it to you in class. Terry¹s is known for her simple and easy quilts, and she always has new projects in the works, although her favorite quilt is always the one she is just starting!

Atkinson Designs is a family-run quilt pattern business in Elk River, Minnesota. Terry published her first patterns in 1994 when her daughter went off to kindergarten. Atkinson Designs now has 26 patterns and a dozen books, with that first pattern, Seminole Table Runner, continuing to be a favorite.
