DARLENE ZIMMERMAN

Instructor: Scallop Savvy

Author, teacher, and designer Darlene Zimmerman is first a collector of vintage fabric and quilts. “Other people collect glassware; I collect fabric,” she says. Finding inspiration from her large collection, Darlene turned her passion for feed sacks and 1930s prints into numerous fabric lines, books, and quilting tools such as Easy Scallop. She also lectures and teaches across the country at shops and guilds, teaching a range of topics from miniature quilts to technique classes, and has had many of her designs published in American Patchwork & Quilting® magazine.
