LINDA HOHAG

Instructor: Perfect & Easy Appliqué

Former children’s book illustrator Linda Hohag loves designing quilts. “It lets me see my ideas come to fruition in fabric,” she says. “And when I design fabric, I get to combine painting and fabric—it’s the best of both worlds.” In the past 13 years, Linda has written 18 books and published more than 60 quilt patterns for her company, Brandywine Design. Her third line of fabric for P&B Textiles came out in fall 2007. Linda’s quilts showcase her fondness for appliqué, and she enjoys teaching her “starch method” appliqué technique with students across the country.
