Scrappy Table Runner

Careful color placement of rich navy, olive, brown, and red is key to creating this three-block table runner of hourglass and Flying Geese units. Fabrics are from the Blessings collection by Brannock & Patek for Moda Fabrics.

Materials

Inspired by “Red Hots” from designer Monique Dillard of Open Gate

Quiltmaker: Laura Boehnke

1-5/8 yards total assorted dark prints in navy blue, olive green, brown, and red (blocks, border)
1 yard total assorted cream prints (blocks)
1/2 yard dark blue tone-on-tone (binding)
1-3/4 yards backing fabric
31x63" batting

Finished quilt: 25x57"
Finished block: 16" square

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics.
Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
