An easy, scrappy project that uses traditionally welcoming elements—pineapples, a house, and a warm, red door—to welcome visitors. Except for the wool letters that spell out the cheery message, the piece is entirely constructed of cotton. Avis designed this piece and says that placing it in a frame really made it “pop.” “I do live in a brown house,” says Avis, “and this piece reminds me of home.”
