Triangle-Squares Bed Quilt

Make a big quilt quickly to show off eye-catching prints, solids, and ticking stripes, such as these from Rouenneries by French General for Moda Fabrics. This easy bed-size quilt features two sizes of triangle-squares, large Four-Patch units, and a variety of rectangles.

Materials

Inspired by “Living Large” from designers Sarah Maxwell and Dolores Smith
Quiltmaker: Mary Pepper

2 yards total assorted cream solids, stripes, and prints (quilt center, outer border)
3-7/8 yards total assorted red solids, stripes, and prints (quilt center, outer border)
7/8 yard cream polka dot (quilt center, inner and outer borders)
3/4 yard solid red (binding)
5-1/4 yards backing fabric
82x94" batting

Finished quilt: 75-1/2x87-1/2"

Quantities are for 44/45"-wide, 100% cotton fabrics. Measurements include 1/4" seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
